Free sales leads are not that hard to find at all but you do need to do some work in order to be able to turn them into cold call lists. In this article I will show you some of the main resources professional sales people and lead generation organizations use in creating lists of companies to cold call. As you will see, most of the information you need to get started making cold calls is right at your fingertips!

Cold calling is one of the best techniques you can use for lead generation marketing. Unlike other advertising strategies, this option puts you into direct contact with consumers. Stephan Schiffman, author of “Cold Calling Techniques: That Really Work,” believes that cold calling is especially important given how frugal most consumers have become over the last few years.
Lead scoring is a way to qualify leads quantitatively. Using this technique, leads are assigned a numerical value (or score) to determine where they fall on the scale from “interested” to “ready for a sale”. The criteria for these actions is completely up to you, but it must be uniform across your marketing and sales department so that everyone is working on the same scale.
REDX is a real estate lead generation company specializing in For Sale by Owner (FSBO), For Rent by Owner (FRBO), foreclosure, and expired leads costing $39 to $79 per month. Therefore, REDX is best for agents focusing on niche market leads like FSBO, FRBO, foreclosures, and expired listings.

That might be us, or it might be one of our competitors. The self-directed buyer’s shields are up, and they are ignoring your messages. Developing a relationship to cut through the noise is critical.  Not all leads that go to sales are ready to buy, so you have to make sure that you have in place a solid lead nurturing strategy to continue to build awareness and affinity for your brand while your prospect is self-educating. Through paying attention to your MOFU efforts through tactics such as lead nurturing, you can continue to have a relevant conversation with prospects long after your lead generation efforts.

I call them at appropriate time they got no cash or their english is not the best. or they got a virus or … so many excuses I know…ill just keep calling them Ray…hehehe

After a few months of working with All The Leads, I'm so happy, that I signed up for a 2nd county! It's so easy - great training videos, sample letters, mailing service, integration with Vulcan dialer, and now the CRM ... it's all the tools you need. I got a few calls with my 1st mailing. One was a multi-million dollar luxury waterfront property! What a nice surprise. With each mailing, more calls come in. Two listings already ... Carlyn

Make that strong, quick connection. Show people you are there. A real, living, breathing human. I started including videos with every post and noticed an instant increase in responses. People can see me. They know I’m real. We forget this, and the whole online trust issue….and calling leads and showing up on video over and over lets people know you are a real, living person who cares for others and intends to be there for them.
"We have purchased large quantities of leads from all the big companies, and have paid a pretty penny for them. GoLeads gave us more leads for our territories than anyone has ever provided and did it at less than half the cost per lead. My appointment setters have exactly what they need to set solid appointments for my sales agents and that is priceless for me. My account executive was very professional and helpful, understood the business and his competition. But more importantly, he was not pushy and let me decide what I wanted."

Good content marketing entertains and informs with blog articles, social media posts, and other bite-sized content that adds something to readers’ lives and draws them to your brand. Small businesses in particular should remember that with a little know-how, a single piece of content is easily repurposed as a mini marketing campaign (or even a killer sales deck). Why constantly reinvent the wheel when you can keep riding the ones you’ve already made?

Search engines also provide lead generation options. Any business with a website can appear on a search engine listing for related searches, and visitors can then click a link and be taken to that company's website. However, some search engines also offer a pay-per-click lead generation option. The search engine posts a link to the company's website at the top of the search results form, making it much more likely that prospective customers will choose to visit that website. However, when a visitor does click the link the search engine charges that company a small fee, as opposed to the free 'general' listings. Companies that use pay-per-click advertising are advised to move cautiously at first, as an overly successful campaign can end up costing far more than expected!

Buyer data is the new business currency, but data gathering is a gambler’s game. The more data a lead generation team has, the more likely they are to find actionable leads. Then again, some lead generation companies source and resell leads, buying them from other providers and selling them to you at markup. This not only means you pay more per lead to cover the middleman costs, but you also run a higher risk of getting outdated or unethically sourced leads.

Because prospective buyers won’t always end up at your website as they start their purchase journey, it’s important that you establish a presence where they may show up. A great way to deliver high-value content to the correct prospects is through content syndication – a content sharing strategy that can be used to promote your whitepapers, articles, news releases, etc. on other websites for greater reach and engagement. Through content syndication, your content appears on third-party sites and newsletters. And because most content syndicators deliver leads directly to your inbox, it’s a great way to keep leads coming in the door.

For each of the sources of free sales leads listed below, you will still have to put some work into creating a sales lead sheet in Excel or in your Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application if you use one. After reading this article you should have no problem compiling lists of companies for you to contact and I tackle the question of identifying contacts within each company in another article.
3. After you listen to them tell you what their wants and problems are, offer them a solution and then a pathway to follow if they want to solve their problem. For example, you mentioned you really needed to do something about _______, if I could show you a way that would help with that, would you be open to it or are you not that serious about it right now? When they answer that they are serious, respond with, I have a video at ______, go through that to see if it is a fit or not and if it is or you have questions, call me back at _________. Note: You could also schedule how soon they plan on watching the video and follow back up with them if that is more your style.
